DR. DAVID LIVINGSTONE
David Livingstone was a Scottish medical missionary . He wanted to be a missionary, but he could not get many people to convert to Cristian beliefs, so instead, he explored most of África. He gave the Victoria Falls their name. He named them after his queen, Queen Victoria.
ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL
Alexander Graham Bell a teacher, scientist, and inventor.
Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edimburgh, Scotland. In 1876, Bell was the first inventor to patent the telephone, and he helped start the Bell Telephone Company with others in July 1877.
ALEXANDER FLEMING
Alexander Fleming was a Scottish biologist and pharmacologist. He is best known for discovering the antibiotic substance peniciline in 1928. He shared a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1945 for this discovery His accidental finding of penicillin in the year 1928 marked the start of today's antibiotics.
JAMES MATTHEW BARRIE
Sir James Matthew Barrie, was a Scottish author and dramatist, best remembered today as the creator of Peter Pan.
